From Markets To Mindsets: EC Markets Champions The Next Generation Of Athletes

Success, whether it’s in sport or in life, comes from perseverance and the determination to keep on improving. Guided by this belief, we at EC Markets, have supported Evegenia Maria Polycarpou from a local rowing club in Cyprus as part of its latest corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative. This contribution will help young athletes compete in the World Championships in Turkey, the Commonwealth Games in Barbados, and the Youth Olympic Games in Senegal.

The rowing team is made up of athletes aged 15 to 17, and has already brought pride to Cyprus on the international stage. Among them is Evgenia, a 15 year old rising star who became the youngest athlete in the world to compete at the 2024 World Rowing Beach Sprints Championships in Genoa. Evgenia has gained international recognition within the rowing community as an emerging talent, and her story shows what can be achieved with the right dedication, these are values that define us at EC Markets.
